For Vol. 1, Kevin Lo takes the reins with a mix that reflects his dynamic musical journey, seamlessly weaving together the raw edge of hip-hop with the deep grooves of Chicago House, Zouk, and soulful African rhythms. His ever-evolving sound offers a captivating mix of fluidity, groove, and timeless energy, setting the stage for REFERENC Radio’s exploration of uncharted musical territories.
For round two, REFERENC introduces Jeroen Dirrix, a Dutch composer and multi-instrumentalist whose music flows at the intersection of intuition and spontaneity. Based in Rotterdam, Dirrix crafts trance-like compositions by blending acoustic pianos with analog synthesizers, letting each track unfold organically. His latest EP, Feel (2024), recorded in the Portuguese countryside, marks a shift toward sun-soaked simplicity and groove, stepping away from the layered complexities of his earlier work. With years of digging under his belt, Tino’s mission is clear: to deliver a profound listening experience that resonates on the dancefloor. As a key figure behind the Rotterdam-based Infinite Pleasure record label, he’s been instrumental in releasing and promoting high-quality house, electro, techno, and everything in between, bringing a refined touch to the underground scene. Tino’s deep knowledge and passion for sound make him a true reference in the world of electronic music.

AMFor Vol. 4, REFERENC introduces Franky Sticks, a Rotterdam-based deejay and visual artist known for his high-energy mix of UK garage, jungle, jersey club, footwork, house, breakbeats, and internet-sourced edits. Raised in a musical environment, Franky’s journey began with recording tapes from television and radio and painting graffiti with friends, before diving into turntablism and incorporating scratching into his sets at the age of 17. His eclectic style and colorful sets reflect his dedication and artistic evolution, blending genres and eras with intention. Franky’s mix for REFERENC Radio is a vibrant expression of his unique sound and boundless creativity.
